The sequence of addition follows from the truth that in base 10 and cross addition, the addition of a 9 is always the addition of nothing at all. This points to the essence of the mind being empty (the sphere of mercury is given this number) and the weightlessness of information. Mind in this way is similarly the greatest and least. If we add 15+63 we get (78)+ is (15)+ is 6 i.e. the 15 was untransformed by the addition.

The other numbers of course transform when added to another. The below lays out a map out how these transformations occur.

The key to the transformation of addition is that when a integer is added to an integer (and cross added) it accords to the following.

Thus 23+47= 23-7 (because 47=2 and 2=-7), which gives (16)+=7.

Which is the same as 23+47=(70)+=7

If we worry that if we reduced them all we would end up with a minus number which will ruin the pattern, we should not worry, for 5-7 (2 transformed) gives us -2 and in the key -2=7. So if we run into negatives we can simply transform them back to positives to see the consistency.

This solves the problem of noting the transformation of small numbers.

1+5=1-4=-3=6.

Of course we can see that 1+5=6 readily but the point is that it looks initially like the system only works with bigger numbers e.g. 143+58, so transform the (58)+=(13)+=4=-5, 143-5=(138)+=3.

In cross addition then addition is always a negation or non effect.

Conversely subtraction is an addition (in cross addition). The key is thus:

What is left open here is the possibility of cross subtraction as number combination which raises again the elemental means of combining the numbers. (23)- is of course -1, (23)/ is .6666 etc (23)* is 6 and (23)+ is 5. Why do we always privilege the latter? The accretion tells us that (the earth mode of addition) this is the correct way to reveal these insights, but it is a an unwarranted privileging.
